Welcome to my photo blog! I am 20 years old and live in central Massachusetts. I've been interested in nature photography for many years, but decided to get serious at the age of 15. My favorite subject to photograph is without a doubt birds. I also love shooting wildlife, macro, flowers, and most recently landscapes. This blog is where I will share my most recent images. I appreciate any comments or questions you may have, so please feel free!

Barn Swallow in Flight
I haven't been shooting anything too spectacular recently so thought I would show a favorite of mine taken at Misquamicut last summer. It was a cloudy day and there were lots of these swallows flying low over the marsh grass catching insects on the wing. I realized that as I would walk through the grass, I would scare up lots of insects which would make the swallows dive closeby grabbing the bugs. I used this to my advantage and was able to walk away with two shots that I still have in my files, and this is the better of the two I think. It still is one of my favorite photos mainly because they are soooo hard to get in flight.
