Spring is Here

It's been a while and I apologize. The past few months have been pretty slow photography wise and on top of that I no longer have a car which seriously limits my photo opportunities. Fortunately spring is finally here and many birds are returning and setting up breeding territories. The first image is of a Song Sparrow which I photographed at a nearby wildlife management area that is loaded with sparrows. The second image is an American Woodcock at night in my backyard. These neat looking birds perform their courtship displays at dusk and dawn, and I used a flashlight to focus on the bird.
