Yesterday I went down to Chatham at Cape Cod to visit South Beach. This month there's been many Great White Shark sightings right off the coast, and many people were there looking for them. I went there so I could work on my shorebird images, but they were not as cooperative as they have been in recent years. I was pretty happy with this one image however, as I have never photographed a Black-bellied Plover. Usually there are very skittish and I cannot get anywhere near them. I really love how the out of focus grasses help frame the photo, and would love to hear what you think.

Beautiful image Josh. Agree with you that the oof grasses help frame the plover here as well as give a great sense of the habitat. Nicely done!
