New bird species

As I mentioned before in my previous post, one of my goals this spring/summer is to work on my collection of breeding birds and add new species. I have slowly been adding new species over the last few weeks, and will continue of my quest. Here are a few of the new species I have been able to cross off the to do list....

American Redstart, one of my favorite species of warbler

Eastern Towhee, a species I have never had success with until about a week ago

And Warbling Vireo, which I photographed this afternoon near my house. Although not as sharp as I want, I am still pretty happy with the result.

  1. I agree with you The American Redstart is one of the most outstanding beauties. I also love the colors of the Warbling Vireo.

Thanks a million for sharing these wonderful images. Visiting your blog is like a stroll in those beautiful woods of Massachusetts.

    Warmest Greetings from Spain.
