My bad for the lack of updating this blog in the past month or so. The past few weeks haven't been going very well for me at all. First, about four weeks ago my laptop fell off my couch and the screen was shattered. I took it to Geek Squad to get it serviced since it was still under warranty and two weeks later I get it back and there's something wrong still. Turned out my hard drive was completely fried, and it was not able to get fixed. The worst part about this is that I never backed up my images from the months of May and June of this year, which means I lost almost a thousand images. I was able to get an impressive number of great bird and waterfall images during May, and I am extremely frustrated that I did not save them.
Then on June 27th while riding a bike and work, the chain came loose and locked up the tires and I fell hard and was told I received a scaphoid fracture in my right wrist. I was in a cast for three weeks, and they told me I could possibly be in one for up to three months! Thankfully, I went in yesterday to get my CAT scan results and apparently it is just a sprain and I need to wear a removable brace for three weeks. I am just glad that I no longer need a cast, especially during the middle of summer.
The only thing I really have to look forward to this summer is a weekend camping trip at the end of this month up to Baxter State Park with a bunch of my friends. We were going up there for white water rafting on the Penobscot River, but I cannot raft due to my hand. So hopefully during that time period I will have some new photographs. Stop by to see any updates!
Cool. Take care of yourself dude. Waiting for your photographs.
